The Bellydance Academy is expanding to Abu Dhabi! After three wonderful years teaching bellydance to all levels in Dubai, we're partnering with Tune Master Studio ( in Al Bateen) to bring our signature classes to Abu Dhabi for the first time. Both cities will now offer private and group sessions with our leading instructors, in a warm, ladies-only space designed for connection, confidence, and movement.
Bellydance Lessons
Technique & Choreography
This class is where the foundations of bellydance come to life. You'll work on your posture and body awareness, refine your shimmies and hip accents, and explore chest movements and arm postures. Whether you're stepping into bellydance for the first time or sharpening technique you already have, this class blends structured guidance with our signature teaching style, so you leave feeling stronger, more graceful, and more connected to your body.

Freestyle Cardio Bellydance
A high energy class full of fun and bellydance. This class includes easy to follow choreography built with all our favorite movements of bellydance, a full body workout set to the best beats of Arabic music, and the right mix of pop, Tarab, folkloric styles and much more. This class is perfect for practicing what you learnt on the technique class or if you just want to dance and express yourself. No pressure, no perfection required: just movement, music, and joy.

Who is this class for?
🌸 New to Bellydancing
Never danced before? Perfect. This class is designed to welcome you in, no experience required. Come curious and you'll leave your first class with the basics in your body and the confidence to keep going.
💃 Intermediate Dancers
Ready to sharpen your technique? This class is built to correct your form, refine your shimmies, and prepare you to level up into our next series of classes. It also serves as a leveling class, helping us place you in the right course for your current stage.
👯♀️ Aspiring Instructors
Dream of becoming a bellydance instructor? This class is designed to evaluate your level and give you honest feedback on your technique and musicality. A key step toward passing your Level 1 exam and joining our teaching course.

Founder of The Bellydance Academy
Shayma believes real confidence begins with awareness, not perfection, true movement starts in the mind. That belief led her, after 25+ years teaching bellydance, to build a method rooted in Psychology, blending technique, musicality, and body awareness to help students find their own rhythm and confidence.
Elena
Bellydance Teacher at The Bellydance Academy
Elena is an internationally recognized bellydance instructor, choreographer, and competition judge with over 25 years of experience. She has taught across the UAE, USA, Switzerland, Oman, Syria, and Turkey, specializing in Oriental and Khaleeji dance with a ballet foundation. Her classes build confidence, musicality, and a genuine love for Middle Eastern dance.
